We are Black Tech.

We aim to empower marginalized populations, such as those in reentry programs, foster youth, and at-risk youth, through career opportunities in the tech industry. Our capstone project involves partnering with organizations serving these populations to transform their education, training, and development approach through the most popular medium used today for information consumption. 72% of people prefer video vs. text to learn a new product or service. Every week, people spend 18 hours watching videos online. The average consumer spends 40 min/day watching YouTube and videos on social media get 12 times more shared than text and images combined.  Taking a marketing approach, we propose a catalog of videos and other content designed to share, attract and foster interest in technology to be leveraged by these partnering institutions who serve the underrepresented in the Black community. In addition to our videos, we offer mentoring, technology solutions, and more. Please see our offerings for details.
